16th June 2025. London, UK. URUNN, a next-gen running app using AI to hyper-personalise digital running coaching at scale, has been selected as a 2025 Rising Star by Founders Forum, announced at the 2025 Founders Forum Global Summit in the UK.

Poised to launch to market in July, URUNN is an AI-powered running app co-founded by Olympic gold medallist Sir Mo Farah and athlete Adam Clarke, in joint venture with FitTech disruptor WithU as technology partner.

The honour positions URUNN among a select group of early-stage businesses poised for rapid international scale. Past companies awarded the Rising Stars accolade include DeepMind (now a Google product), Wise, Twilio, Bumble, and Lemonade. Each of which have gone on to define new categories in global tech.

“To be recognised as a Rising Star by Founders Forum, alongside companies like DeepMind and Twilio is a real honour.” Says Adam Clarke, Co-Founder and CEO at URUNN.

“URUNN was born from personal experience. We know how much of our success comes down to having outstanding coaching and wanted to make that accessible to every runner through intelligent, adaptive technology. This recognition is a huge validation not just of our product, but of the mission driving it.

“Collaborating with WithU was a natural choice as we prepare to disrupt the running market. WithU shares in our vision of making elite-level running coaching accessible to all, and its experience disrupting the FitTech market puts us in the best position to come off the starting blocks with impact.”

Kaleigh Frost, Co-Founder and CGO at WithU adds, “We’re incredibly proud to see URUNN recognised as a Founders Forum Rising Star. It reflects the strength of our partnership - bringing WithU’s deep expertise in coaching technology together with Mo and Adam’s elite athletic insight. This collaboration is what makes URUNN so unique, it’s where cutting-edge tech meets the mindset of champions.”

Carolyn Dawson, CEO of Founders Forum Group, commented: “Our Rising Stars programme is a defining feature of Founders Forum and an opportunity for us to shine a light on some of the world’s most exciting high-growth tech businesses.

“We’re delighted to have both Sir Mo Farah CBE and Adam Clarke included in this year’s Rising Stars cohort and were thrilled to have them pitch on our main stage yesterday, sharing URUNN with our global community of founders, investors, CEOs and thought leaders.”
